An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high calibre Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber to join an expanding water treatment company. The company is offering the successful candidate the opportunity to undertakes a varied role on large commercial and industrial sites based in and around the Stevenage area. Applications from Hitchin, Dunstable, Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Requirements
  • Ideally, the applicant must come from a good educational, technical and plumbing background.
  • Must have the relevant qualifications in plumbing – C&G Level 2 or 3.
  • Must be well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene industry legislation – L8.
  • Must be punctual, reliable and organised.
  • Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
  • Must have varied experience working as a plumber and on commercial and industrial properties.
  • Must have excellent communication, client‑facing, organisational and client‑facing skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out plumbing work on commercial and industrial properties.
  • Replacing tanks and conversion of mains.
  • Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
  • Carrying out temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analysing water systems.
  • Building and maintaining a good working rapport with clients.
  • Collating and providing service reports and maintaining the standards according to the regulations – Health and Safety.
