Job description

Due to continuous growth of the business, this diverse and fast growing water treatment company with a good presence in the South East of England is actively seeking for a competent, multi-skilled and committed Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the London area. applications from Luton, Hertfordshire, Bedford and the surrounding areas will be considerd.

The individual must come from a good educational background and must be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must have City & Guilds qualification along with hands on experience.

Good client-facing and organizational skills.

Must be conversant with current guidelines.

Must have significant experience within this role and with the water treatment parameter.

Key Role Will Entail:

Disinfection of mains water systems, tank cleans and descales, changing and replacing tanks, remedial work, flushing systems, shower heads, etc.

Monitoring client’s air and water systems and ensuring that they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.

Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.

Carrying out temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analyzing water systems.

Interpreting the results and maintaining and installing dosing systems, etc.

Providing accurate reports and maintaining paper work.

Liaising with clients on a regular basis – building and maintaining a good rapport with clients.

Requirements/Attributes:

Overall the successful post-holder will be versatile, flexible and reliable and have the ability to work on own initiative and under pressure and must be prepared to travel to designated sites.

Must have the ability to complete work within time line.
