Responsibilities

• Clean and chlorinate hot and cold water systems, boilers, and cooling towers.
• Conduct routine sampling and analyze water systems.
• Undertake planned preventative maintenance on dosing equipment.
• Inspect and maintain water heaters, tanks, and calorifiers.
• Install and maintain dosing systems and inspect CWST.
• Maintain and service TMVs.
• Complete paperwork for all works undertaken.
• Maintain strong client relationships.

Job description

This successful water treatment/water hygiene company who provide quality services to clients nationwide is seeking an experienced Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the Llandudno area. Applications from Gogarth, Glanwydden, Llanrhos, Penrhyn Bay and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience working as a water treatment engineer essential.
• Up to date working knowledge of current ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and chlorination of both hot and cold water systems, boilers and cooling towers.
• Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.
• Undertake planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment as and when required.
• Water heater, tank and calorifier inspection, showerhead cleans & descales.
• Install and maintain dosing systems, inspection and disinfection of CWST.
• Maintenance and servicing of TMVs.
• Completing paperwork for all works undertaken.
• Maintain a strong working relationship with the company’s clients.
