Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Water Treatment Engineer (Field Based) in the Frome area. The role offers a salary of £38,000–£42,000 with OT, enhanced pay, a van, fuel card and specialist training.

You will install and service water treatment systems across the Southwest, Monday to Friday, with progression opportunities. The ideal candidate has experience with water systems, valves or pumps and holds a full UK driving license.

• Willingness to work in a field-based role and handle equipment.

Responsibilities

Are you a Water Treatment Engineer or have any experience working with water systems, pumps, valves or similar, looking for a role where you will receive bespoke training for a company that offers a days-based role, door to door pay and plenty of overtime to boost your earnings?

This company specialise in cable percussion drilling, rotary drilling, water boreholes, geothermal boreholes, and water treatment systems. With over 50 years of industry experience, they are trusted for their technical expertise, reliability, and commitment to sustainable solutions.

In this role, you will install, service, and maintain water treatment systems, diagnose and resolve water quality issues, and support the drilling team to deliver complete water supply solutions across the Southwest.

This role would suit a Water Treatment Engineer or similar and are looking to progress their career within a specialist water engineering company that provides a clear pathway of progression.

The Role:

• Install, service, and maintain water treatment systems including filters, softeners, UV units, pumps, and chemical dosing equipment
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Regional patch with van and tools provided

The Person:

• Experience with water systems, valves, pumps or similar
• Full UK driving license
