Overview

Highly respected Water Treatment company are currently recruiting for a professional and dynamic water treatment engineer to cover contracts across London and the surrounding counties. You will have a strong knowledge of L8 guidelines, ideally with practical experience delivering legionella monitoring duties and cleans / disinfections of water systems. In return, the company can offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work on a wide array of systems and can provide the right person with training into more complex cooling and process systems.

Stanford-le-Hope, South Benfleet, Canvey Island, Grays, Tilbury, Rayleigh, Rochford, Southend-on-Sea, Wickford, Chelmsford, Billericay, Brentwood, Rainham, Romford, London, Dartford, Erith, Sidcup, Orpington, Bromley and the surrounding areas.

Experience

• Thorough knowledge of the water treatment industry.
• Ideally experience working on a multitude of water systems.
• Proficient with ACOP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines.
• Practical experience carrying out disinfections.

Duties

• Undertaking temperature monitoring and sampling regimes to ensure compliance with ACoP L8.
• Carrying out clean and disinfections on both hot and cold-water systems, steam boilers and cooling towers.
• Closed system analysis, sampling, and dosing with inhibitors.
• Cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
• Undertaking servicing, repairs, and replacement on TMVs.
• Carrying out showerhead descales.
• Undertaking installation and maintenance on dosing systems.
