Due to present state of the business, this top player within the water treatment industry is actively seeking to recruit a high calibre, self‑motivated and commercially focused Water Treatment Accounts Manager in the North West and will include applications from Liverpool, Blackburn, Preston and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Good formal education.
• Strong background in technical, chemical, accounts, operational, business development, sales, contracts and management.
• Excellent communication, client‑facing, presentation, organisational, leadership and people‑management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Well versed with water treatment industry legislation.
• Hands‑on experience in steam boilers, cooling towers and closed systems.
• Proven track record working in this role and within the water treatment sector.

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining the company’s diverse portfolio of existing and new accounts.
• Scheduling workloads and inspections and ensuring water treatment engineers meet customer demands while complying with water legislation.
• Ensuring engineers carry out work cost‑effectively and in compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
• Updating clients with progress reports.
• Using the database effectively.
• Getting involved in Key Performance Indicators.
• Conducting chemical analysis on steam boilers and cooling towers, interpreting results, maintaining and installing chemical dosing systems.
• Providing technical advice to clients at all levels.
• Visiting sites and dealing with any issues appropriately and effectively.
• Building and maintaining a good working relationship with clients.
• Collating and preparing comprehensive reports.
