Profile

Our client is a well‑established and reputable Water Treatment company with a national presence. Working across Healthcare, Hospitality, Commercial and Industrial sites they are looking to recruit an organised and knowledgeable Water Treatment Account Manager based in and around the Watford area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing Cooling Tower, Steam Boiler and Closed System accounts, understanding customer needs and requirements, attending meetings and building excellent rapport with clients. Consideration will also be given to University graduates looking to start their career in the Water Treatment sector. This client can also offer a company car, company phone/laptop, and company healthcare. Applications will be considered from Lutterwort, Rugby, Daventry, Northampton, Towcester, Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Hemel Hempstead, At Albans, Watford, Enfield, Stevenage.

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven track record in managing and growing Industrial Water Treatment Accounts for a portfolio of clients.
• Well versed in relevant Health and Safety / ACOP L8/ HSG Guidelines.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ideally hold a Chemistry Degree or the WMSoc Certificate in Steam Boiler and Cooling Tower Chemistry.

The Role

• Arrange own schedule and manage a portfolio of Steam Boiler, Cooling Tower and Closed System accounts for Heavy Industry, Manufacturing and Food/Beverage clients.
• Identify commercial opportunities within existing contracts and upsell remaining services/products.
• Provide support to clients over the phone and on site, troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Maintain a good understanding of customer requirements, needs and plans.
• Manage orders, ensuring contracts are renewed in a timely manner.
• Recommend changes to clients regarding services and products.
• Build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
• Attend meetings when and as required.
• Plan strategies for meeting targets effectively.
• Work to agreed Key Performance Indicators.
