Job summary

Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Project Manager to join our ambitious Water Team, delivering some of the county's most exciting freshwater restoration projects.

Working within our wider Nature Recovery Directorate, you'll lead the development and delivery of complex river and wetland restoration projects, collaborating with landowners, contractors and partner organisations to create lasting benefits for wildlife, water, and people.

Water Team Senior Project Manager


Reports to: Freshwater Delivery Manager


Contract: Permanent Full Time


Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with the need for occasionalweekend or evening work


Based at: Head Office, Elm Tree Court, Devizes

Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Project Manager to join our ambitious Water Team, delivering some of the county's most exciting freshwater restoration projects.


Working within our wider Nature Recovery Directorate, you'll lead the development and delivery of complex river and wetland restoration projects, collaborating with landowners, contractors, communities and partner organisations to create lasting benefits for wildlife, water, and people. From restoring natural river processes and reconnecting floodplains to delivering innovative catchment-scale solutions, you'll play a key role in turning ambitious ideas into successful projects on the ground.


Our Water Team has over 20 years' experience restoring freshwater habitats and is recognised for delivering high-quality, evidence-led conservation. Today, our work spans multi-year restoration programmes, nature-based solutions, biodiversity net gain and catchment partnerships, helping drive nature's recovery across Wiltshire.


This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate and supportive team, working alongside specialists in freshwater, farming, ecology, species recovery and nature markets to deliver integrated, landscape-scale conservation.
