Job summary

TXM Recruit is hiring a Water Supply Support Engineer to work with a leading UK energy provider in Derby and surrounding areas. The role is field-based, outdoors, and involves supporting leak detection, basic repairs, and on-site assistance to engineers.

You’ll need hands-on experience in utilities or plumbing, a full UK driving licence, and a willingness to learn. A van and fuel card are provided, with full training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in utilities/construction/plumbing is ideal.
• Willingness to learn and adapt on-site.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather.
• IND4 visa status or entitlement to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support leak detection & basic repairs.
• Assist on-site with engineers.
• Minor excavation & reinstatement.
• Customer-facing, field-based work.
