Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a specialist training provider to recruit a Water Service / Water Mains Trainer in Peterborough, with travel to customer sites. Salary between 40,000 and 50,000 plus car allowance, pension, training and progression opportunities.

The role involves delivering and assessing water mains/service laying qualifications both in centre and on customer sites, with full support to gain relevant training and assessing qualifications.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in water mains and service laying.
• Willingness to train and gain formal training/assessing qualifications.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality training programmes to learners, including apprentices.
• Assess learners both in centre and the workplace against defined outcomes.
• Build and deliver learning packages aligned to objectives.
• Travel to customer sites as required and based from Peterborough.

As part of a growing training team, you will deliver and assess water mains and service laying qualifications both in centre and on customer sites. For candidates new to training, full support and development will be provided to gain the relevant training and assessing qualifications.

The Role
Delivering high-quality training programmes to a wide range of learners, including apprentices
Building and delivering learning packages aligned to specified objectives and outcomes
Assessing learners both in centre and in the workplace
Based from Peterborough with travel to customer sites as required

The Person
Either: Experienced Trainer / Assessor within the water industry
Or: Water industry professional (mains or service laying) looking to move into training and assessment
Strong occupational experience in water mains and service laying, repair, and maintenance
Full UK driving licence
