Water & Public Health Engineer (Civil) – CLIENT

Ideal candidate

You will hold an Honours degree in Civil Engineering and bring 12+ months' experience in water or public health engineering. Familiarity with design delivery and exposure to hydraulic / modelling software is beneficial (not essential). You’ll be confident with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word), a strong communicator, and comfortable analysing data and solving problems. We’re seeking someone proactive, detail‑focused, and able to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining a high level of client service.

Responsibilities
  • Produce designs for public health and water projects, including pumping stations, control buildings, water‑retaining structures, and associated civils.
  • Compile specifications, BoQs, drawings, and technical reports to established quality standards.
  • Participate in design workshops, client meetings, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Plan and coordinate site surveys/investigations, including interpreting findings for design inputs.
  • Contribute to CDM / health & safety documentation and ensure adherence to QA systems.
  • Provide wider civil engineering support to other internal teams when required.
