The Ideal Person

You will hold an Honours degree in Civil Engineering and bring 12+ month's experience in water or public health engineering. Familiarity with design delivery and exposure to hydraulic/modelling software is beneficial (not essential).

You'll be confident with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word), a strong communicator, and comfortable analysing data and solving problems. We're seeking someone proactive, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining a high level of client service.

Responsibilities

As a Civil Engineer within the Water team, you will:

  • Produce designs for public health and water projects, including pumping stations, control buildings, water-retaining structures, and associated civils.
  • Compile specifications, BoQs, drawings, and technical reports to established quality standards.
  • Participate in design workshops, client meetings, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Plan and coordinate site surveys/investigations, including interpreting findings for design inputs.
  • Contribute to CDM/health & safety documentation and ensure adherence to QA systems.
  • Provide wider civil engineering support to other internal teams when required.
Remuneration & Benefits - £30,000 - £35,000
