Job summary

Mott MacDonald Group, a global engineering and consultancy firm, is seeking experienced technical project managers for its Water Consultancy Division in the UK. You will lead multi-disciplinary water projects from feasibility through construction, liaising with clients and contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer with ICE/IMechE membership.
• Delivery experience on infrastructure projects, ideally water.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across lifecycle stages.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage programme, cost and risks to successful outcomes.
• Excellent communication, including reports and presentations.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-disciplinary water projects across full lifecycle.
• Lead delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality; ensure compliance with management systems.
• Coordinate design and delivery stages with specialist teams.
• Act as key client interface; build trusted relationships.
• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks and opportunities.
• Oversee forecasting, programmes, and reporting; manage commercial aspects.
• Mentor and develop junior staff; support team development.
