Job summary

Alexander Associates Technical Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Project Manager – Water to join a Kent-based project delivery team. You will support planning, coordination and delivery across a portfolio of water infrastructure and related projects, working alongside experienced project managers and stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and safe practice.

Qualifications

• Experience within civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities or a related construction environment.
• Previous experience supporting the delivery of construction or engineering projects.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Good commercial and programme awareness.
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
• APM, PMQ or PMP qualification, or working towards a recognised project management qualification.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of multiple projects
• Monitoring programmes, costs, risks and overall project performance
• Coordinating contractors, subcontractors and key stakeholders
• Supporting commercial and change management activities
• Ensuring projects are delivered in line with health, safety, quality and environmental requirements
• Producing project reports and providing regular progress updates
• Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities
• Supporting commissioning, completion and final handover
