Job summary
ERM is seeking an early-career water specialist with an MSc in a related field to support delivery across water balance development, industrial water management, wastewater and water stewardship initiatives. You will perform data analysis, literature reviews and prepare client-ready reports and presentations.
The role emphasizes collaboration in project teams and the development of reusable tools for the Water team.
Qualifications
- MSc in Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, Hydrology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Some relevant professional experience is highly preferred (consultancy, internship, graduate role).
- Strong analytical skills and data confidence.
- Clear written technical summaries and good communication.
Responsibilities
- Support water risk, resilience and industrial water management projects.
- Undertake desk-based research and baseline data gathering.
- Analyze operational water data from client sites and datasets.
- Develop water balances and Excel-based trackers.
- Assist with GIS/spatial analysis and mapping when needed.
- Prepare technical reports, PowerPoint outputs and client deliverables.
- Contribute to proposal development with research inputs.
- Help build reusable tools/templates for the Water team.
