Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Agent to lead clean water infrastructure projects. You will manage day-to-day site operations, ensure safety, quality, and programme compliance while delivering works on time and within budget.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will coordinate site engineers, subcontractors, and designers to deliver water treatment works, pumping stations, service reservoirs, and pipelines, maintaining accurate records and promoting a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Agent in water/utilities or civil engineering.
• Delivery of clean water infrastructure projects (treatment works, pumping stations, pipelines).
• Strong HSE, QA/QC understanding.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills.
• Ability to build positive client and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of clean water infrastructure projects.
• Lead site engineers and subcontractors to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Plan and coordinate site activities to meet programme milestones.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Review RAMS and ensure safe systems of work.
• Manage labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors to maximise productivity.
• Monitor progress and identify efficiency improvements.
• Oversee inspections, testing, and project handover.
• Promote a positive safety culture and drive improvements.
