Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting a Site Engineer to join the Anglian Water @One Alliance on AMP8 projects in the UK. The role focuses on day-to-day quality assurance, surveying and setting out, with strong emphasis on safety, health and environmental management.

You will support site management, liaise with engineering teams, and ensure work complies with specifications while travelling to sites across the region, including Peterborough.

Qualifications

• CSCS and SSSTS are essential.
• HNC or degree in civil engineering or equivalent required.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Familiarity with methods, materials and site techniques relevant to projects.
• Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the region.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day site quality assurance including surveying, setting out duties, quality checks and approvals.
• Support the Site Manager in liaising with Engineering and Integration teams to resolve conflicts and ensure work aligns with drawings and specs.
• Assist site management with health, safety and environmental management.
• Assist in calling off materials, stock control and liaising with procurement to manage orders within authority.
• Highlight areas of concern before they become issues.
• Contribute to delivering programme, quality and cost targets.
• Identify better delivery options and minimise waste on-site.
• Strive to minimise capital carbon through innovation and substitution.
