Morson Group is recruiting a Senior Design Manager for the Northumbrian Water Living Water Enterprise Framework. The role is on a permanent or contract basis (Inside IR-35) with hybrid working across Newcastle and Durham offices, partner offices, NWL sites and home as required.

You will report to the Principal Design Manager and lead design delivery on water projects, ensuring scope, programmes and budgets are met while managing design partners and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering qualification and practical delivery experience.
• Good organisational skills.
• Effective communication and strong stakeholder management skills.
• Passionate about improving performance in the sector through best practice and continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Identify design scope and deliverables.
• Support development and agreement of design scopes, programme and budgets.
• Manage allocated design partner and project teams to deliver against design deliverables, programmes and budgets.
• Manage the design contract and co-ordinate reporting aligned to Framework requirements.
• Ensure design compliance with NWL, industry and client standards, securing any derogations as required.
• Coordinate and manage design reviews, technical assurance reviews and CDM reviews.
• Ensure design is implemented and managed aligned to the project BIM strategy.
• Support the framework nominated principal design partner and interface with wider teams.
• Be conversant with current legislation, especially health and safety, relevant to tasks.
