A leading contractor in project management is seeking a Project Planner to join their planning team based in Derby. The role involves building and reporting project programmes using Primavera P6, supporting project teams, and contributing to effective project delivery. Candidates should have project planning experience and be knowledgeable in industry-specific software. This position offers a salary range of £50-55k and a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Project planning experience on a variety of project sizes.
• Experience contributing to project review presentations.
• Construction, civil engineering, M&E or related building experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Project Teams with high-quality P6 Programmes.
• Develop and maintain project plans ensuring baseline scheduling.
• Identify and produce integrated programmes of work.

Skills

Project Planning experience

Technical capabilities using Primavera P6 and MS Project

Excellent communication skills

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Basic understanding of the NEC contract

Infrastructure and/or water industry experience

Experience using Power BI

Education

Academic qualifications in a construction or infrastructure related subject

Technical degree beneficial but not mandatory
