Job summary

HSL Compliance is seeking a motivated Remedial Technician to join our team. This hands-on role involves remedial repairs to water systems, installing pipework, tanks and valves, and performing water sampling and system flushing while travelling to different sites each day.

No industry experience is required as full training is provided. A full UK driving licence is essential, and you must follow health and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence (essential)
• Reliability and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently once trained
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Proactive and enjoys solving problems
• Experience in water hygiene, plumbing or legionella control (beneficial)
• Ability to follow processes and work safely
• DBS check may be required

Responsibilities

• Perform remedial repairs to ensure water system compliance
• Travel to different sites each day (company vehicle provided after training)
• Install, repair, and maintain pipework, tanks, and valves
• Conduct water sampling, temperature checks, and system flushing
• Clean and descale showerheads and other fixtures
• Keep accurate records and liaise with clients onsite
• Follow HSE’s ACoP L8 and all health & safety protocols
