Job summary

Highgrove Recruitment Group Limited is seeking a Water Hygiene Technician with a plumbing background for a site-based role in Southampton. You will perform legionella control tasks, monitor temperatures, flush systems, and undertake inspections, while servicing TMVs and storage tanks.

You will also carry out remedial plumbing work and maintain thorough site records. Ideal candidates have hands-on plumbing experience, with water hygiene or legionella exposure preferred, and hold a valid UK

Qualifications

• Hands-on plumbing experience (commercial or domestic).
• Water hygiene or legionella experience preferred, though strong plumbers will be considered.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good attention to detail, plus the ability to work on your own and manage your own diary.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out legionella control tasks, including temperature monitoring, flushing, sampling and inspections
• Servicing and maintaining TMVs, calorifiers and cold water storage tanks
• Completing plumbing remedials such as pipework alterations, dead-leg removal and tank replacements
• Carrying out cleans and disinfections of water systems
• Completing accurate site reports and logbook records
