Qualifications

  • Full UK Driving Licence required.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in Legionella monitoring essential.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out temperature monitoring of outlets and water systems.
  • Perform cleaning and disinfection of showers.
  • Conduct water heater and calorifier inspections.
  • Complete cold water tank inspections.
  • Perform TMV fail-safe checks and servicing.
  • Ensure all allocated work is completed accurately.

Skills

We are currently seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join our field-based team, delivering planned maintenance for a long-standing client across the Liverpool and Manchester area . This hands-on role involves daily travel and plays a key part in maintaining safe, compliant water systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out temperature monitoring of outlets, calorifiers, and water systems
  • Perform cleaning and disinfection of showers
  • Conduct water heater and calorifier inspections
  • Complete cold water tank inspections
  • Perform TMV fail-safe checks and servicing
  • Ensure all allocated work is completed accurately and on time
  • Follow HBE and client operating procedures
  • Undertake any other duties required as part of the role
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in Legionella monitoring
  • Ability to work independently
  • Professional and customer-focused attitude

  • Overtime rates : Time and a half for evenings and Saturdays & Double time for Sundays and Bank Holidays
  • 22 days annual leave + Bank Holidays, increasing by 1 additional day after 2 years’ service, up to a maximum of 25 days
