Job summary

PTSG Water Treatment in the Edinburgh area is seeking a mobile field technician to visit customer sites, ensuring water systems are safe and compliant. You will inspect and clean storage vessels, lead tank chlorinations, install thermostatic mixing valves, and perform routine monitoring in line with HSG 274 Part 2.

A full, clean UK driving licence is essential and City & Guilds Legionella Awareness Training or equivalent experience is required.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing

As a key part of our team, you’ll travel to customer sites, ensuring water systems are safe and compliant across the region. Your day will involve essential tasks like inspecting and cleaning water storage vessels (including leading on tank chlorinations), installing and servicing Thermostatic Mixing Valves, and conducting routine monitoring tasks in line with HSG 274 Part 2. This means you’ll be flushing water outlets, monitoring temperatures, descaling showerheads, flushing pressure vessels, and performing crucial sampling for closed water systems.

You’ll need a full, clean UK driving licence and have City & Guilds Legionella Awareness Training, equivalent or suitable industry experience to succeed in this role.
