Job Title: Water Hygiene / Remedial Plumber.

We are working closely with a professional and reputable Environmental Consultancy based in the West Midlands, who are now seeking to take on a Water Hygiene / Remedial Plumber. The successful candidate will have experience carrying out various L8 compliance duties including but not limited to: water sampling & temperature monitoring, deadleg removals, flushing of little used outlets and carrying out fault finding on site. Experience & Qualifications

• Will ideally hold the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in Plumbing.
• Will have experience working for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella management company working hands on as a Water Hygiene / Remedial Plumber.
• Well versed in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• IT literate, able to update onsite logbooks accurately.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

The Role

• Water sampling.
• Temperature monitoring.
• TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
• CWST cleans and chlorinations.
• Flushing of little used outlets.
• Deadleg removals.
• Expansion valve installations.
• Replacing, rerouting, and adjusting PVC and copper pipework.
• Carrying out fault finding on site, and providing recommendation to clients on remedial actions required.
• Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Ensuring onsite logbooks are completed promptly after completing L8 compliance work.
