Qualifications

  • Experience as an engineer/plumber in a Water Hygiene/legionella company is beneficial.
  • Essential understanding of ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
  • Install, replace and clean CWSTs.
  • Clean and descale showerheads.
  • Conduct tank inspections.
  • Test and service TMVs.
  • Dose closed systems.
  • Provide failsafe servicing.
  • Clean cooling towers.
  • Remove deadlegs.
  • Update onsite logbooks.
  • Install and remove pipework (Copper and PVC).

Job Title: Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer

Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands

Salary / Benefits: £22k – £35k + Training + Benefits

We have a leading Water Hygiene / Legionella Compliance company looking to recruit a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer to join their team in the West Midlands. The successful candidate will have extensive experience carrying out plumbing duties alongside various L8 compliance services. You will be working on Commercial, Industrial, Leisure, Local Authority, and Residential sites, ensuring work is carried out in accordance with ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines. Experience & Qualifications
  • Working as an engineer / plumber for an established Water Hygiene / legionella company would be beneficial to the role.
  • City and Guilds / NVQ L2/L3 in plumbing is essential.
  • Communicating efficiently with clients and colleagues.
  • Working in accordance with ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
  • IT literate.
  • Organising workload efficiently.
The Role
  • Carrying out routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
  • CWST installation, replacement, cleans and chlorination’s.
  • Showerhead cleans and descales.
  • Carrying out tank inspections.
  • TMV testing, servicing, installation, and replacement.
  • Dosing of closed systems.
  • Failsafe servicing.
  • Cooling tower cleans.
  • Deadleg removals.
  • Updating onsite logbooks.
  • Carrying out removal and installation of pipework (Copper and PVC)
  • Working in compliance with HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.
