Qualifications

• City and Guilds / NVQ in Plumbing is essential.
• Experience with Water Hygiene / Legionella companies is preferred.
• Knowledge of HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct water sampling and temperature monitoring.
• Perform tank cleans and chlorination.
• Service and monitor TMVs (Thermostatic Mixing Valves).
• Clean and descale shower heads.
• Conduct cleaning and disinfections on water systems.
• Remove deadlegs from systems.
• Refurbish CWST (Cold Water Storage Tanks).
• Remove and reroute pipework.
• Carry out pre-planned remedial tasks.
• Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines.
• Utilize handheld PDA system for site information.

Skills

Knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines

Experience in plumbing

Due to continued success, they are now seeking to employ a Water Hygiene Engineer / Remedial Plumber. You will be covering Commercial, Industrial, Hospitality, and Construction sites. Working alongside the companies longstanding team of Engineers / Plumbers you will be undertaking the full range of Water Hygiene / Remedial Plumbing duties. Responsibilities

• Undertaking water sampling and temperature monitoring on Commercial, Industrial, Construction and Hospitality sites.
• Tank cleans and chlorination.
• TMV servicing and monitoring.
• Shower head cleans and descales.
• Cleaning and disinfections on hot and cold-water systems.
• Deadleg removals.
• CWST refurbishment.
• Removal and rerouting of pipework, copper, and PVC.
• Undertaking pre-planned remedial tasks.
• Ensuring work is being carried out in line with relevant HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Using handheld PDA system to gather information from site.

Qualifications & Experience

• City and Guilds / NVQ L2 / L3 in Plumbing (Essential).
• Experience working for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company, ideally in an engineering and/or plumbing role.
• Excellent knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
• Holding the G3 unvented ticket would be beneficial but not essential.
• Familiar in using handheld PDA system.
