Qualifications

• Holding the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher is essential.
• Extensive hands-on experience with a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
• Up-to-date knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
• Deadleg removal.
• Visit sites to carry out fault finding and rectify issues promptly.
• Perform CWST cleans and disinfections.
• Test, service, install and replace TMV units.
• Conduct closed-system sampling and analysis.
• Dose closed systems with correct chemicals.
• Perform calorifier inspections.
• Showerhead descaling and disinfection.
• Flush and replace outlets.
• Work in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Complete onsite logbooks.

Our client is an independent and professional provider of Water Hygiene / Legionella management services in the South of England. They are looking for an experienced and qualified Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer to join their established team and carry out duties in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines across commercial, educational, industrial, and public sector sites.

Experience & Qualifications

• Holding the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher is essential.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company as an engineer / remedial plumber.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Professional and polite conduct on site.
• Ability to manage workload in line with company and client needs.
