Job Description

Due to on-growth of the business and requirement, this diverse water treatment company with a large presence in the UK is actively seeking a versatile, committed and flexible Water Hygiene Engineer based in the Redhill area and will include applications from Leatherhead, Crawley, Croydon, Epsom and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience
  • City & Guilds qualified and good formal education.
  • Good chemical background and significant experience in this role and the water hygiene industry.
  • Well versed with water treatment/water hygiene industry legislation – L8.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; organisational skills.
  • IT literate.
Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
  • Carrying out temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analysing water systems.
  • Liaising with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients on a regular basis.
  • Collating and providing service reports and maintaining the standards according to the regulations – Health and Safety.
  • Competent, with a good work ethic, ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Flexible with regard to travelling.
