Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber Supervisor.
Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber Supervisor to join an industry leading Legionella company. You will be supervising an established team of engineers and plumbers, providing continuous training and support alongside carrying out water hygiene / plumbing services predominantly across Educational sites, working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Huntingdon, Ely, March, Cambridge, Newmarket, Saffron Walde, Thetford, Downham Market, Wisbech, Kings Lynn, Swaffham, Diss, Stowmarket, Sudbury, Ipswich, Bishop’s Stortford, Braintree, Colchester.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Will hold the City and Guilds / NVQ (L2 or higher) in Plumbing.
• Extensive experience working for a renowned Legionella / Water Hygiene company.
• Will have excellent supervisory skills.
• In depth knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Will be friendly and personable with clients and colleagues of all levels.

The Role:

• Carrying out routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
• TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
• Showehead cleans and disinfections.
• Deadleg removals.
• Rerouting and replacing PVC and copper pipework.
• Flushing of little used outlets.
• Providing training to new and existing clients.
• Supervising a team of engineers / plumbers on site.
• Ensuring work is carried out in line with ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines.
• Liaising with clients, providing advice and support.
• Ensuring onsite logbooks are completed accurately upon completion of work.
• Ensuring work is completed in line with agreed time frame.
