Qualifications

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out CWST refurbishments and installations.
  • Undertaking repairs and servicing on TMVs.
  • Installing unvented cylinders (desirable).
  • Cleaning and chlorination of hot and cold-water systems.

Job description

Our client is a family run business servicing clients across the Midlands, and further afield when required; now looking to take on a knowledgeable and competent Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber based in and around the Stafford area.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Must have Current / Previous experience working within the water hygiene / legionella industry.
  • Must hold the City and Guilds L2/L3 (or equivalent) qualification in plumbing.
  • Will be knowledgeable of relevant Health and Safety / ACOP L8 guidelines.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft office.
Role Responsibilities
  • CWST Refurbishments/ Installs with associated pipework.
  • Undertaking repairs, replacement and servicing on TMVs.
  • Unvented Cylinder servicing and installation. (Desirable)
  • Dead leg removal and pipework rerouting.
  • Valve replacements and swaps.
  • Carrying out installations and maintenance on dosing systems.
  • Working on pipework ranging in size and material.
  • Undertaking cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems and cooling towers.
  • Carrying out showerhead descales.
  • Carrying out routine water sampling and temperature sampling.
  • Ensuring all work carried out complies with relevant Health and Safety / ACOP L8/ HSG guidelines.
  • Building and maintaining excellent rapport with clients.
  • Using information from site to produce detailed reports for clients.
