Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor.
Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k + Training + Benefits

Our client is a leading and reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella Consultancy who have a strong presence across the North West region. Due to continued success, they are now seeking to recruit a Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor. Covering a mixed portfolio of sites, you will be undertaking water sampling, temperature monitoring, and TMV servicing. Experience carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments is beneficial to the role, as the client is ideally looking for someone who can undertake ad hoc Risk Assessments when needed. Experience & Qualifications

• Will ideally hold the City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment.
• Experience working for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company, working as a Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer.
• Relevant up to date knowledge of relevant ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
• Experience using handheld PDA systems and logbooks.
• Able to work well as a team and individually.

The Role

• Water Sampling.
• Temperature monitoring.
• Carrying out tank inspection, cleans and disinfections.
• TMV servicing.
• Showerhead cleans and descales.
• Legionella risk assessments Commercial and High Security contracts.
• Working in line with ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
• Using handheld PDA to gather information from site.
• Liaising with clients professionally, providing excellent technical advice when required.
• Ensuring onsite logbooks are accurate and up to date.
