Job summary

Concept Environmental Solutions Ltd is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to join the Field Team in Dartford. You will perform planned maintenance, inspections and remedial works to keep water systems compliant with Legionella guidelines, delivering high-quality reporting and service.

The role requires 1–2 years in water hygiene or related work, with desirable experience in hospital settings and chlorine dioxide testing. A proactive, safety-minded professional will thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in water hygiene, water treatment, or a related industry.
• Experience with chlorine dioxide testing would be desirable.
• Practical fault-finding experience across water systems (calorifiers, expansion vessels, TMVs, distribution systems).

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of thermostatic mixer valves (TMVs).
• Cleaning and disinfection of cold water storage tanks.
• Cleaning and disinfection of showerheads.
• Calorifier inspections.
• Expansion vessel flushing.
• Chlorine dioxide testing (desirable).
• Water softener servicing (desirable).
• Provide technical insight into system performance and asset condition.
• Identify and recommend remedial actions.
• Interpret and implement Legionella Risk Assessment recommendations.
• Escalate system defects, anomalies and high risk findings appropriately.
