Job summary

Future Select is recruiting for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join a specialist team delivering legionella control and water hygiene services across the North East region. The role involves travelling to client sites to perform legionella sampling, TMV servicing and hot/cold water inspections, with training and career development offered for the right candidate.

You will maintain logbooks, complete reports, and ensure compliance with ACoP L8, working with a variety of facilities and gaining

Qualifications

• Experience in water hygiene engineering or environmental service roles.
• Practical knowledge of legionella guidelines (ACoP L8).
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Delivering legionella sampling and temperature regimes in accordance with ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Servicing of Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs).
• Cold and hot water storage tank inspections.
• Tank cleans and chlorination works.
• Flushing of used outlets.
• Updating logbooks and completing reports of tablet-based systems.
