• Demonstrable knowledge of legionella compliance.
• Experience carrying out water hygiene monitoring duties to ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Ideally experience working on cooling towers.

Responsibilities

• Temperature monitoring.
• Legionella sampling.
• Work on commercial and industrial sites on domestic hot and cold-water systems.
• Showerhead descales.
• Calorifier flushing.
• Clean & disinfect storage tanks.
• Clean and disinfect cooling towers.
• TMV inspection, testing and servicing.
• CWST inspections.
• Basic remedial works when required.

Overview

Professional Water Treatment Company are currently recruiting an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to a mixed portfolio of contracts across the North West. Applicants will come from a strong legionella compliance background and ideally have experience working on cooling towers. For the right candidate the client can offer regional based work with a good work life balance.

Travel Access

Good access to the M6 and M62 for the following locations is preferred: Bolton, Preston, Blackpool, Burnley, Rochdale, Bury, Huddersfield, Halifax, Bradford, Leeds, Keighley, Batley, Oldham, Manchester, Stockport, Wigan, St Helens, Liverpool, Widnes, Ellesmere Port, Northwich, Macclesfield, Crewe, Chester.

Qualifications
