Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to service client sites across Leeds and surrounding areas. You will perform ACOP L8 compliance tasks, inspect tanks, descale showerheads, and conduct water sampling.

The role requires independent on-site work, flexibility to travel, and a hardworking, detail‑oriented approach. A strong understanding of HSG 274 and related guidelines is essential, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as Water Hygiene Engineer within an established outfit.
• Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
• Able to work independently on site.
• Flexible to travel as per company needs.

Responsibilities

• Attending client sites to conduct pre-planned ACOP L8 compliance duties.
• Showerhead and acid descales.
• Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks.
• TMV servicing and failsafe checks.
• Mains injections.
• Water sampling.
• Temperature monitoring.
• Updating logbooks.
• Maintaining high service standards.
