Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join a highly respected national outfit. Working across the Yorkshire area the successful candidate will be joining an established team of engineers to deliver professional compliance services. The ideal candidate will come from a strong water hygiene / treatment background, with experience delivering ACoP L8 tasks. The client can offer ongoing support and training, and the role would suit those looking to cut down on travel and work more regionally.

Locations within the West / South Yorkshire area will be considered, including but not limited to; Huddersfield, Bradford, Halifax, Batley, Leeds, Wakefield, Barnsley, Pontefract, Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield.

Ideal Candidate Experience:

• Experience working within an established Water Hygiene / Treatment or Legionella Company.
• Hands on experience working as Water Hygiene Engineer or similar role.
• Working knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
• Recognised Plumbing qualification (desirable not essential)

Main Responsibilities:

• Collection of water samples.
• Temperature monitoring of TMV and Water Outlets.
• Inspections on both Hot and Cold water storage tanks.
• Showerhead descales and disinfection.
• TMV servicing.
• Basic remedial works (if plumbing qualification held).
• Maintaining client relationships.
