Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Salary/Benefits: £25k - £35k + Training & Benefits

Due to recently winning new contracts, our client is recruiting for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer, to service a mixed portfolio of commercial, public sector and leisure client sites. The company is a well‑known name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, with coverage nationwide. The ideal applicant will also have some basic remedial plumbing experience and will be flexible to travel as required. You will be completing a range of ACOP L8 PPM duties, ensuring clients remain compliant with industry guidelines. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include training, overtime and a company vehicle.

Experience / Qualifications

• Successful track record working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
• Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• It would be advantageous to hold plumbing qualifications and experience, but this is not essential
• Experience working across a range of client sites
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Professional manner when liaising with clients

The Role

• Undertaking a range of PPM water hygiene duties across client sites
• Showerhead descales
• Flushing of outlets
• TMV servicing and replacements
• CWST cleans and disinfections
• Deadleg removals
• Water sampling and temperature monitoring
• Producing regular service reports
• Representing the company in a professional manner
