Job summary

Southern Water is seeking a STC Process Operator to join our frontline operations team in Millbrook (Hampshire). You will help ensure wastewater treatment works and pumping stations run smoothly, supporting regulatory compliance and service delivery to customers.

You will perform compliance testing, routine maintenance, alarm repairs, and data reporting while using IT systems to log tasks and maintain safety and hygiene on site.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good time management and ability to work independently.
• Adaptable, reliable, and self-motivated.
• Keen to learn and operate complex processes.

Responsibilities

• Compliance testing and monitoring.
• Maintenance tasks including unblocking pumps, screens, and valves.
• Repair of alarm systems and fault resolution.
• Monitoring, collating, and reporting data for regulatory compliance.
• Using IT systems to log maintenance tasks and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintaining site hygiene in line with regulatory obligations.
