Job summary

A major environmental services provider in Greater London is seeking an experienced ICA Technician to join the Wastewater team in Greenwich. You will be responsible for maintaining and commissioning plant equipment, diagnosing faults, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have HNC level or NVQ level 3 qualifications, strong communication skills, and a practical understanding of control systems. This role offers a competitive salary up to £47,000 and various employee benefits including a company van.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to HNC level or NVQ level 3 in instrumentation, control and automation discipline.
  • Experience in calibration and maintenance of instrumentation.
  • Ability to adapt to pressures of working in a constantly changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out instrumentation, control and automation maintenance on wastewater assets.
  • Install, modify and commission new plant equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plants.

Skills

Understanding of operational plant and control systems
Knowledge of HNC level or NVQ level 3
Experience with relay logic and PLCs
Ability to read and fault find from circuit diagrams
Problem solver
Excellent communication skills
Full UK driving licence

Education

HNC level or NVQ level 3 in instrumentation, control and automation
