Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited is seeking a Modeller/Senior Hydraulic Modeller to join our Wastewater Team in Peterborough/Epsom/London. You will support hydraulic modelling frameworks and contribute to catchment strategies and environmental solutions.

The role involves coordinating modelling leads and delivering high-quality outputs for diverse UK clients. We value collaboration, regulatory understanding, and the development of staff.

Qualifications

It's an exciting time to be working for our UK Water business with unprecedented investment in the water industry. Due to continued framework successes, we seek to recruit a Modeller/Senior Hydraulic Modeller to join our Wastewater Team in Peterborough/Epsom/ London to be part of our hydraulic modelling frameworks, with leading UK Water Companies.

Your role

Supporting with leading Storm Overflows Discharge Reduction Plan, flood alleviation and environmental solution development projects. Supporting the development and delivery of wastewater catchment strategies and solutions. Responsible for the quality of outputs and compliance with standards & specifications. Ability to manage and/or support modelling leads, project managers, to manage projects and programmes of works. Support in the development of tender responses and fee estimates. Supervising and developing staff and providing guidance to support their professional development. Contributing towards technical innovation.

About you

Effective communication skills and problem-solving capabilities. Experience in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning and solution development. Experience using InfoWorks ICM, GIS softwares and ICM Exchange. Understanding of UK Water Industry and regulatory issues. Proven track record in coordinating and delivering technically excellent projects independently. Ability to either originate and/or check the work of others to provide quality assurance and drive continuous improvement in work delivered to the client.
