Job summary

Northumbrian Water is seeking an Asset Planner to own wastewater asset needs across a designated area, hybrid role based in Washington. You will drive asset performance analysis and value-based investment planning within their AMP8 programme.

You will build robust business cases, collaborate with a wide set of stakeholders, and shape future capital priorities to maximise value for customers and the business. A proactive, organized approach and proficiency in Excel/Word are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and influencing skills essential for engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex information and translate data into clear recommendations.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word to analyse information and present findings.

Responsibilities

• Own wastewater asset needs across a designated geographical area.
• Analyse asset performance and assess risks/benefits to support value-based investment decisions.
• Develop high-quality business cases defining asset needs, root causes, and range of solutions.
• Lead early stages of capital investment interventions and handover to Capital Delivery team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape future investment priorities for AMP8.
