WASTE SERVICES TEAM LEADER (Driver)

(HGV and CPC Qualified)

37 hours per week + 4.5 contractual overtime

Must have Waste Collection experience.

This role requires you to work as part of a waste collection crew responsible for collecting refuse, recycling and/or green waste on one or more specific collection rounds throughout the North Warwickshire Borough. As part of a team, the successful applicant will ensure completion of the allocated waste collection rounds.

The successful applicant will maintain service compliance with Health and Safety and Road Traffic regulations and will undertake waste collection tasks in accordance with the Council’s standards of service.

Applicants will need a flexible approach to working hours, be willing to start work at 6.15am and to work outside standard hours when necessary to ensure completion of collections. Furthermore, applicants must be prepared to work weekends and bank holidays as required, to meet the needs of the service.

Applicants must be physically fit, be willing to undertake appropriate training and be prepared to undertake other duties when required. A flexible nature and willingness to undertake other duties when required is expected of all applicants.
