Do you have experience working in a Waste Services Environment and are looking for a change?
South Holland District Council is looking for a dedicated and proactive person to lead its newly formed Engagement Team, as it embarks on a radical change to its Waste & Recycling Collection Service in October 2026.

We are looking for a natural leader and an excellent communicator, with a background in Waste and Environmental services and an understanding of how local authorities operate. You should feel comfortable working within a team but also confident working independently when visiting residents who may be resistant to change. You will need a flexible approach to work, as the role may require evenings, weekends, and occasional overtime.
You will work outdoors in all weather conditions for prolonged periods. You must hold a full driving licence and be able to travel independently and reliably as part of your daily duties.
