Qualifications

  • Comfortable delivering presentations, workshops, or public engagement sessions.

  • A full driving licence and ability to travel across the district.

Salary Range: £25,989 – £28,142 per annum

Our client is launching a major transformation of their Waste and Recycling Collection Service in October 2026, and they are building a brand-new engagement team to make it happen.

As an Engagement Officer, you’ll be the face of this change working with residents, businesses, and community groups to build understanding, encourage participation, and help create a cleaner, greener South Holland.

You will create materials to publicise and promote the council’s waste and recycling services, which will include updating council web pages and delivering presentations to schools, local community groups, and other audiences.

You’ll thrive if you:

  • Can adapt to different situations and work independently and as part of a team.
  • Are ready to take initiative and find solutions.
