A recruitment agency is seeking a dedicated Waste Operative in Oldham. The role involves safely managing waste operations, routine collection and disposal, and operating machinery like forklifts and pallet riders. Candidates must hold a valid Forklift Licence and UK Driving Licence, and have the ability to work independently. This full-time role offers a pay rate of £12.21 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Routine collection and disposal of site waste.
• Safe operation of forklift, pallet rider, van & mobile plant.
• Maintain tidy workspaces and safe waste storage.
• Assist with segregation, packaging & labelling of waste.
• Support removal of waste to reduce stock build-up.
• Monitor safety and ensure team compliance.
• Complete daily vehicle & equipment checks.
• Liaise with supervisors on operations & safety.
• Contribute to behavioural safety & near-miss reporting.
• Help with general housekeeping tasks.
• Sign duty of care & hazardous waste consignment notes.
• Support teammates when needed.
• Provide operational support across GSK sites in Hertfordshire & Essex.

Waste Operative Wanted – Oldham

Tudor Employment Agency is on the lookout for a dedicated Waste Operative to join our client’s team based in Oldham.This role involves safely managing waste operations under onsite procedures, in line with GSK’s guidelines ️.

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 11am – 9pm

Key Responsibilities:

• ️ Routine collection and disposal of site waste
• Safe operation of forklift, pallet rider, van & mobile plant
