Qualifications

• Extensive experience of senior waste service leadership.
• Sound knowledge of current and emerging waste and resources policy.
• In-depth understanding of operational techniques for waste management.
• Experience managing complex waste contracts effectively.
• Ability to communicate effectively to various audiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of 21 Recycling Centres and multiple landfill sites.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for services.
• Manage operational budgets around £90m per annum.
• Directly manage a team of 7 staff and manage 200+ operational staff.
• Work closely with Waste Collection Authorities across Essex.
