Job description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Waste Management Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection, handling and disposal of waste items and materials in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines. Minimum 30 hours per week over 3 days, with additional shifts as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving to and from jobs
• Collection and transportation of waste and recycling materials
• Safe operation of vehicles and equipment
• Following health and safety regulations at all times
• Providing an excellent service to customers and maintaining professional standards.

Requirements

• Full UK drivers licence – no more than 3 points on licence
• Must be aged 25 or over due to insurance purposes
• Good level of physical fitness
• Ability to work as part of a team but use initiative too
• Reliable, punctual and a strong work ethic.
