Waste Management at Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council are currently looking to expand its dedicated team of waste management professionals ahead of implementing a new Food Waste Collection Service from February next year.

We take pride in our key frontline public services and have invested this year in a brand new fleet of Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCV’s) with the delivery of our Food Waste vehicles planned for February next year.

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated person with a keen interest in environmental services to promote and encourage participation in our recycling services. This role requires excellent communication skills and high levels of customer service to deal with enquiries and investigate and resolve any customer issues. An eye for detail, strong analytical skills, previous experience of working in a customer-focused environment and experience of Microsoft Office systems would be beneficial.
