A recruitment agency is seeking an individual for a full-time temporary role in waste management services in Aspenden, England. Job description

This job is a key role in the successful delivery of our waste and recycling services for residents. This is a full time temporary role, 37 hours per week.

The post holder will be engaging with residents to assist with queries on our waste and recycling services and support the delivery and collection of containers as required.

Also undertaking performance and asset monitoring for Refuse and Recycling collections, Street Cleansing and other service requirements to ensure residents are receiving an excellent service.

Undertake inspections of assets and undertake local environmental quality surveys such as cleanliness and bin condition at the direction of the Waste Contracts Manager. Provide advice and information to the public and other organisations on waste, recycling, and street cleansing.

Experience You Will Bring :
  • Excellent keyboard skills and use of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office suite of programmes.
  • Basic knowledge of waste management functions.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety at work.
  • Experience of IT. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel.
