About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Waste Collection Assistant to join our environmental services team. In this role, you will support the safe and efficient collection of residential and commercial waste, helping keep our community clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the collection of households, commercial, and recycling waste along assigned routes
• Load bins, bags, and bulk waste onto collection vehicles safely and efficiently
• Work closely with the driver and crew to ensure timely completion of daily routes
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines
• Provide friendly and respectful service to members of the public
• Report any issues, hazards, or vehicle concerns to the supervisor
